The origin of a lifelike dinosaur trophy
It is breathtakingly beautiful. The dinosaur trophy, the look of which is so lively that one could almost think that dinosaurs still exist.
This eye-catcher was created during Fantasy Basel. In this way, the team of René Faigle AG wanted to amaze the trade fair visitors to the various possibilities of 3D printing.
For this purpose, the imaginary hunting trophy was first created as a virtual model on the PC, then printed in plastic and carefully hand-painted in the last step.
A complete success - today the trophy from the 3D printer impresses with its detailed design and lifelike coloring.
There are no limits to the possibilities
This object shows once again the enormous development power that lies in 3D printing.
The big advantage of 3D printing is that an object can be printed directly from the CAD model. You neither need expensive tools nor do you have to program complex CNC machines.
