Showcase Create what doesn't exist yet With 3D printing there are hardly any limits to your imagination and creativity. Even extinct species can be brought back to the present. This also applies to this dinosaur trophy, which was first modeled virtually and then 3D-printed using stereolithography. The origin of a lifelike dinosaur trophy It is breathtakingly beautiful. The dinosaur trophy, the look of which is so lively that one could almost think that dinosaurs still exist. This eye-catcher was created during Fantasy Basel. In this way, the team of René Faigle AG wanted to amaze the trade fair visitors to the various possibilities of 3D printing. For this purpose, the imaginary hunting trophy was first created as a virtual model on the PC, then printed in plastic and carefully hand-painted in the last step. A complete success - today the trophy from the 3D printer impresses with its detailed design and lifelike coloring. There are no limits to the possibilities This object shows once again the enormous development power that lies in 3D printing. The big advantage of 3D printing is that an object can be printed directly from the CAD model. You neither need expensive tools nor do you have to program complex CNC machines. The path from the idea to the finished prototype is therefore much shorter and time and money can be saved in innovation and improvement cycles. As the market leading provider of 3D services, René Faigle AG knows how companies can use this potential for themselves. "Whether prototypes, spare parts for machines or vehicles, aids for production, models of machines or buildings, or even objects of art: we manufacture the parts and bring them into the final shape and color as required. Parts are often painted or chrome-plated, laser-engraved or paint. We take on the implementation for our customers right through to the finished end product," says Niklaus Schulz, Business Unit Manager 3D at René Faigle AG 3D services of René Raigle AG 3D Scanning Thanks to 3D scanning, physical objects find their way into the virtual world for further digital processing. Objects of all kinds can be captured. For example a; defective gear wheel, which is to be reprinted as a spare part historical object of art, which must be copied true to detail Collector's item, to archive it 3D CAD In 3D CAD parts can be designed, products or packaging can be created and ideas can be brought to life. The design can be of a technical geometric nature - such as a housing - or have an ergonomically aesthetic shape - as in the case of the dinosaur trophy shown here.
