The customer is developing a kind of exoskeleton as an ergonomic seat support. Main field of application of this "chairless-chair" is industrial production, where traditional seats are unsuitable.
For this product, complex lightweight part needed to be produced fast and flexible. Therefore, Additive Manufacturing (AM) was chosen. This further allowed the easy integration of the connectors to the attenuators into the part. In several discussions, the design has been optimized for AM. The parts have been produced within a week in titanium.
The 3D printed parts are currently used in the 0 series and will also be in the first series.
