Innovation Symposium: Mechanical engineering and automation

How can additive manufacturing be made cost-efficient? How does a flexible gripping system work? Can additive manufactured parts also be used at a depth of 400 m? At the the AM Expo in Lucerne you can expect exciting lectures in the field of mechanical engineering and automation technology.

In mechanical engineering, additive manufacturing processes not only enable tool-free, cost-effective and thus flexible production of individual parts and small series. They also serve the development of new function-optimized system components up to new business fields through application-specific automation solutions. At AM Expo, exhibitors present their most exciting showcases in short presentations.

Tuesday, March 12, 2019
10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

The Innovation Symposium will be opened with a keynote by Ralph Merget, Oerlikon AM GmbH, on the topic of "Vertical Lead Business Development Automotive, Industry&Tooling". Adriaan Spirings, inspire AG, will accompany you as moderator through the presentations. The exhibitors present the following showcases:

  • Philips denkt um: 3D-Druck Bestandteil der Produktion
