Polyamide 11
Made out of renewable raw materials (castor oil). Good resistance to chemicals, especially hydrocarbons, aldehydes, ketones, mineral bases and salts, alcohols fuels, detergents, oils and fats. Cytotoxicity according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5. UV-stable. Applications: Mechanically loaded functional prototyps and series parts with long-term moving elements (e.g. hinges); interior components for crash relevant parts (PA 1101 components do not splinter); thin walls and lattice structures. Due to mass-coloring well suited for abrasively stressed and manually manipulated visible parts.
