Innovative components thanks to "Design for" mix of methods
27 June 2019
By mixing the two methodical approaches Design for Additive Manufacturing and Design for LeanSixSigma, Admantec creates innovative components that are optimally matched to the functional requirements and at the same time can be mainly manufactured free of errors and waste.
Product and process development must go hand in hand in additive manufacturing to achieve optimum results. Therefore, we use two ideally complementary methodical approaches and state-of-the-art tools for the design or further development of function- and cost-optimized components and groups.
Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) takes into account the general technological conditions. This ensures the best possible use of the advantages of AM.
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is the methodical approach for implementing lean and controlled processes in industry and beyond. With Design for Lean Six Sigma (DfLSS), we pursue the goal of designing new products and their manufacturing processes without errors and waste right from the development phase.
