Stainless steel
High ductility and corrosion resistance. Meets the requirements of ASTM F138 / 18Cr-14Ni-2.5Mo. Stainless and useable for surgical Implants (UNS S31673). For watch and jewellery fabrication, automative, aerospace, food, chemical plants and power plants. Post-processing by machining, polishing and stress relieving. Solution annealing is not required due to laser melting process. Not suitable for application between 427°C up to 816°C due to deposition of chromium carbides.
